The EMfc is 8 years old… 8 years of love, passion, smiles, happiness, joy and inspiration because that’s what Elizabeth is for us.
Spending 3 hours at dinner with her was the best and the most unimaginable thing that could ever happen to us, so this year has been extraordinary beyond words and we’re so grateful for that!
This woman has been helping us to grow up with her wisdom, her way to see the world, her positivity, her talent, her characters (always so incredibly messy, strong and special in their own way).
She’s been inspiring and pushing us for so long.
Elizabeth, YOU are OUR safe place! Thank you so much for everything!

There’s been a devastating earthquake here in our Country. It involved central Italy and it was really strong.
We’re both fine, thank you for those who asked.
People who live in central Italy… they need a lot of blood (all types), so please donate it and help others. We are so deeply sorry for those who are suffering and lost a loved one. Be safe! Hugs.
A street artist in Prague created this beautiful portrait of Elizabeth and that small caricature of her. It looks like there’s a pic of Elizabeth beside the caricature, for sure took when she was in Prague filming Crossing Lines. We think it’s cool they have a protrait of her on the street because she was there last year, isn’t it?! 🙂
Thanks so much doducduong for sending these photos to us.
We created a gallery for fanarts because some of you asked us to add theirs on the site. Ste is working on a page for letting you submit your drawings or digital fanarts. We’ll post about it asap. 🙂
We also created a page with music videos, you can check it out at this link.

It’s been two weeks since our dinner with Elizabeth and since then we have never stopped thinking about it.
We know some of you asked us some questions and photos.
Beside the video of her thanking the fans who wrote her messages in our fanbook project, we didn’t take so many photos actually. It wasn’t like a fan encounter or an event where you take pics. It was a private meeting and we’ve actually never thought about taking pics till the last minute.
(These are two pics where she’s looking at us, took just before the video)
Elizabeth made us feel so part of her life that beside being a little bit nervous (because omg she is our queen) we felt like we were having a normal conversation with someone we knew. She actually created this family atmosphere and it was so deeply beautiful.
She was so excited and happy to meet us as much as we were to meet her, which is seriously incredible and mind-blowing and that proves how precious this woman is. She told us she wanted to meet us from so long.
It’s not like she has never told us how grateful she is for the site (she always tells us the most beautiful things), but feeling and seeing how genuinely she cares about us also as persons was really on an all other level.
We know we put so much love and work into EMfc and that’s only because our love and respect for Liz is seriously infinite, but her words have always felt too much for us anyway. We think we couldn’t fully and completely understand them till now.
It isn’t only what she told us (which is so moving and touching and filled our hearts) but the big and small gestures she had for us, beside the whole dinner. She did everything to make this experience perfect and she actually succeeded and made everything more than flawless (just like her).
Among other things she said that the site represents her and her thoughts, that what we write here is also the way she is and thinks. We have never thought about something like that, not even for a moment. It was hard to believe that she could actually feels what we feel, but she really does.
We can’t really express our joy in words for what she decided to give us and we are not talking about the 3 magical hours, we are talking about the trust she has in us.
We’ve been here for so many years and we’ve been her admirers for even more years, but we have never imagined she could actually feel this way about us.
We are so honoured she chose us, we have always been, now we are even more.
And she was also so funny when she explained what she does when she comes on the site or when she always give EMfc link to the people she knows and they get impressed by the site and tell her “how’s that possible that someone do something like that? Nobody has this.” And she always replies “I do, I have this.” She’s so adorable!
She also described to us when she told her boyfriend we told her we were going. She’s so incredibly sweet! She said so many things and did so many things, but seriously this woman is exactly how people always describe her, no… she’s more than that.
Beside this and the conversations about the gifts, we talked about personal things, so this is all, lovelies!
We also wanna thank the people who have been nice to us and were happy about what happened and told us we deserve this. Thank you so much for your sweet words! And to everyone who thanked us for giving the book with your messages to Liz, you’re so very welcome!
We’re sorry we couldn’t collect messages again but we didn’t have the time, because this was really organized in a few days. But you need to know that Elizabeth is grateful for all the lovely people who support her!
Oh for those who missed the video and all our previous posts, check this tag on the site. We’ll create a page to collect everything we posted about this asap.
We miss her so deeply and even if we thought it was impossible, we love her so much more.
We’ll be forever blessed and honoured for her existence!

I (Adry) wrote this review of Dead of Summer 1×06 for Voice of TV. It expresses what I feel about Liz’s performance in the episode and in general. I don’t think her talent could actually be explained with words, but I tried. Oh something else I loved is the voice she had when she was playing a younger Deb. The way she talks (the scene when she was talking to her friend about Keith) makes her look younger, I think she did a fantastic job there as well. Anyway I’m gonna copy the review part here (the recap is less important, but if you’re interested you can find it at this link).
I know it’s weird I called her “Mitchell” lol, I had to… but she’ll always be my Liz. Always! 😛 <3
Elizabeth Mitchell’s Heartbreaking And Powerful Perfomance In Dead Of Summer 1×06 – Review
As I expected Dead of Summer 1×06 “The Dharma Bums” was the best episode yet and not only because of the sad and touching back-story of Deb, but mostly because of the incredible performance delivered by Elizabeth Mitchell. That woman can do anything and she has constantly proved she can do no wrong.
Even if you are familiar with her talent, she never stops surprising you with all the thoughtful and mind-blowing depth, the overwhelming emotions and the delicate and infinitesimal layers she is able to put into all her characters.
What she did with Deb was phenomenal and unique. It’s her extraordinary ability to recreate moments with profound sensitivity and undeniable credibility that make you identify with her characters.
Mitchell dives you into Deb’s misery with an impeccable perception of the feelings the woman has been going through from the death of the young counselor to the recurring loss of her true love.
Deborah Carpenter’s past was heart wrenching, bittersweet and devastating.
The pain of this character was so real and intense as much as the joy and the happiness she could only taste for a little while when she has Keith (Dylan Neal) by her side, when they both believed in their dreams and when life hasn’t crushed them yet.
Those were two souls that lost each other and lost themselves, two bums who forgot what means to be free as soon as they stopped to be together.
Their love story is heartbreaking and yet intensely beautiful. Both actors were able to create a palpable chemistry and true feelings that can only overwhelm you almost as much as they overwhelm themselves.
Keith’s death is the turning point into Deb’s life. After that Camp Stillwater’s owner wanted to believe so badly that things can go back the way they were and her commitment in recreating the summer of her past is what actually made her reopen that place. Those were moments of her life when she was truly happy and still has her dreams to believe in and fight for. She wanted to save the world and got stuck and changed by it in the process, they both did, but “it’s never too late to be the person you were always meant to be,” at least for Deb.
Even if she forgot that in the past, she will have to hold on to it to keep going, to be there for those kids, to give them the same hopes she had at their age, no matter what happened to Cricket, no matter what happened to Keith. She will probably never be able to save the world, but she could try to save a small part of it.
“The Dharma Bums” is the strongest and the most compelling episode so far, I doubt it could be matched. Even if the story went exactly as my prediction, the intensity of the plot, the powerful performances (in particular the Elizabeth Mitchell’s one), the beauty of a genuinely authentic love story, make the sixth instalment not just enjoyable but emotional on so many levels.
The love of these two souls blossoms during one only summer and endures a lifetime. Not even distance can tear them apart, not even the world that changed them can break up their hearts.

When we meet Elizabeth we gave her some personal gifts we promised to talk to you about. 🙂
We gave her a custom funko pop of the Snow Queen (see the pics below) and she totally adored her so much.
We thought about Ingrid because of what she said about how she got the role and that doll is so cute.
It was very nice because she kept her on the table till the dinner started, then she had her put on the furniture in front of her in order to take a look at her from time to time during the dinner.
There was also something from our Country for CJ and the kid was so happy about it. 😀 We didn’t know but we actually gave him something of his favourite things. <3
He also said that the gift was awesome already because the gift bag was so cool. He’s really so amazing just like his mom!
The last gift was very personal and important to us. It was a plate with a dedication. We tried to express in a few words what she means to us (see the photo below).
We are so happy Elizabeth loved it so much, she even asked her boyfriend to take a pic of her with us and the plate with her phone. 😛 She said she will keep it in a place where she can see it all the time. So incredibly sweet! She also asked us if she can show her boyfriend our gifts (book included). How lovely! She hugged the plate for a while. <3
Elizabeth is such an extraordinary woman!!!
Elizabeth Mitchell - Liz About The Site - Our Dinner With Liz - Site Updates
Yesterday they finally released The Purge in our Country so we got the chance to see it! 😀
We haven’t seen Elizabeth on the big screen since 2009 when we went to see a Lost panel at Rome Fiction Festival because we needed to show Darlton our “Save Juliet” caps. 😛 (On a side note: the crazy girl who desperately wants the Apollo bar in The Purge must have been an extremely insane fan of Lost. LOL!)
It’s been really emotional to see her beautiful face on the big screen in a challenging role like Charlie Roan.
The movie deals with a very topical issue, which makes it even more scary: power and will of hurting other human beings.
There are so many themes in The Purge: Election Year, not discussed in depth or not discussed at all in the previous movies.
The first film is more about an individual fear, and they present the purge as an attempt to reduce crime. In the second one this pretext is unmasked but not completely analyzed.
In the third movie you see what’s really behind these twelve hours of insanity: money and power.
The fact that someone in a power position, like the senator Charlie Roan, fights for those who can’t gives you hopes for a better world.
One of the most amazing thing is that this woman is running for President and only the thought of that makes us scream inside!
But Charlene is not just that, she has the depth and the empathy that Elizabeth is able to recreate so well.
Only someone who feels those emotions really deeply is able to show them on screen so strongly and believably convey them to the viewers.
The senator’s fighting for the innocents, for justice and for a better future should be inspiring for everyone, especially in the violent world we are living in right now.
Empathy is a common characteristic in all Liz’s characters if you think about it. Sometimes it’s stronger than others, other times there’s something that blocks that to come to light (which is usually pain as for The Snow Queen) but it’s there, inside these amazing women she plays. And when this empathy comes from a traumatic experience, it can possibly be even more admiring.
There are scenes in particular as those when the senator forgets that she’s the one who needs to be protected.
Towards the end of the movie, she sees the room full of people that NFFA was about to sacrifice and she even protects one of them with her body.
The church scene when they are about to kill their first victim, Charlie reacts visibly as if she wants to protect him even if that means to put her life even more in jeopardy.
For sure she is re-experiencing what happened to her and her family 18 years before which is the whole point of her fighting: she can’t stand people hurting other human beings.
She doesn’t oppose when they are about to do the same to her, which is in part because she doesn’t want to give them the satisfaction of begging for her life, but mostly because her empathy for the others is stronger than her own self-preservation, which is impressive.
We also loved that Charlene is authoritative within her competencies and respects those of others.
For her safety the senator should keep a low profile, but she knows that she needs to put her life at stake to gain people’s trust in order to archive her goal, so she doesn’t listen to her bodyguard. On the other hand when it’s about his competencies, she steps back and listens to him. Noteworthy her chemistry with Frank Grillo. Not a surprise obviously, this woman is able to create, even all by herself, chemistry with everyone.
In conclusion Charlie Roan is a multi-layered character who is not afraid to admit to be scared, but is able to keep a cool head: “35 yards, 15 yards high”. Her strength comes from her ideals. She doesn’t let her rage overwhelm her and she’s combative while she keeps her female sweetness.
On a personal note: weeks before The Purge release in our Country, we had a glimpse of some caps from the interviews with Elizabeth contained in the movie, and when we saw them on screen yesterday it was really exciting, knowing now that the production took them from our site. 😀 This makes us very happy because we feel we did visually something for Liz. <3
As we have already told you, Elizabeth, on screen you make disappear everyone else.
Thank you for giving us another stunning example of woman warrior!
