New interview with Elizabeth

UPDATE: We added the translation of the interview, made by Marine. Thank you so much!

There is a new interview with Elizabeth from Paris. It’s in French, if anybody is able to translate it and send it to us, it would be great!

Crossing Lines Season 3 starts on Monday, March 7 at 08:45pm on 13th Street!

After the dramatic events of season 2 with the death of the character played by Marc Lavoine and the departure of William Fitchner, the series was a mini reboot with the arrival of Goran Visjnic and Elizabeth Mitchell (who play Marco Corazza Costante and Carine Strand) and Frank Spotnitz as showrunner. More rhythmic, better writing (at least in the first 3 episodes we watched), season 3 is refocusing around the team led by Donald Sutherland (Michel Darn), one of the few characters back for the new season. The story starts six months after the end of season 2.
We had the opportunity to meet Goran Visjnic (Luka on ER) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet on Lost) and they talked about season 3 in a very relaxed and funny way.

Goran: Elizabeth will talk and I’ll listen. This is how we will work. Why is this the only interview we did together?
Elizabeth: Really? It’s a great duo, it’s a shame for the others! (Laughs) Oh, look, we crossed our legs in the same way.
Goran: Yes, my legs are much more sexy than yours!
Elizabeth: You do not realize how hard it was to work with someone prettier than me!
Goran: Do not say that, do not worry about that! A little respect for you, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: But stop, you’re so fine, you’re a distraction. All the time ! It makes me laugh all the time.

‘The Purge: Election Year’ Trailer Trumps ‘Batman v Superman’ on Twitter

WOW, this is amazing!

Purge_3_trailer_top_trailerIn a social-media version of David vs. Goliath, the trailer for the low-budget thriller “The Purge: Election Year” generated more buzz on Twitter last week than the final trailer for superhero epic “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” according to data from research firm ListenFirst. The new “Purge,” which is the third in a series of films speculating about life American life if it were to include one night of lawlessness every year, looks to ratchet up the political commentary of its narrative, while having some fun with the fact that it is, indeed, an election year in the U.S. The movie, which stars Frank Grillo and Elizabeth Mitchell, opens July 4 weekend.

Dead of Summer: Update

Dead of SummerWe created the page for “Dead of Summer” (Elizabeth’s upcoming tv show) with more info about it and its characters.

They describe Deb as a woman with  “warm and welcoming vibe” used to mask her potentially dark reason for wanting control of the camp.

Season 1 will have 10 episodes and filming starts next month. It’s all we have for now! 🙂

We also updated the filmography page and The Purge 3 update with the new photos and trailer.

The Purge 3 Stills

UPDATE (February 11): we found another still:

and this is a picture from the set posted by Frank Grillo a while ago. You can’t actually see Liz, but it’s from the church’s scene.

This is an EW article about the movie:

When The Purge: Election Year picks up, it’s been two years since we last saw Leo Barnes (Frank Grillo) help save the lives of a number of individuals on purge night. This time around, he’s only responsible for the life of one other person, but that person happens to be a U.S. senator (played by Elizabeth Mitchell).

“It’s very politically charged,” Grillo told EW of the third film in the Purge franchise. “It’s basically my character and then a senator who has kind of uncovered what the purge really is.” Translation: She wants to end the purge, which for first-time viewers, is a 12-hour period of time in which all crime is legal, including murder.

So when a person in power speaks out against it, naturally, she becomes a central target on purge night. “They’re trying to assassinate her, and she and I go on this adventure together,” Grillo said.

In the first trailer for the new film from writer/director James DeMonaco, we get a glimpse of that adventure, complete with horrifying masks, the dark streets of Washington D.C., and a sacrificial ceremony.

If you missed the trailer, check it out at this link.

And this is the poster:

The title of the movie should be “The Purge 3 Election Year”.

The Purge 3 Trailer

The Purge 3 trailer is finally out and it’s awesome. I’m not gonna survive this! (It contains spoilers).

Purge 3 Trailer Elizabeth Mitchell

The first trailer for the next movie in The Purge franchise starring Frank Grillo was released online Wednesday. The Captain America: Civil War villain reprises his role from the previous film, alongside Lost’s Elizabeth Mitchell. As Senator Charlie Roan, Mitchell is running for president on the platform of ending the Purge Night.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Expanding the universe introduced in the hit franchise that electrified the culture and earned $200 million at the worldwide box office, Universal Pictures’ The Purge: Election Year reveals the next terrifying chapter that occurs over 12 hours of annual lawlessness sanctioned by the New Founders of America to keep this country great.

It’s been two years since Leo Barnes (Frank Grillo) stopped himself from a regrettable act of revenge on Purge Night. Now serving as head of security for Senator Charlie Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell), his mission is to protect her in a run for president and survive the annual ritual that targets the poor and innocent. But when a betrayal forces them onto the streets of D.C. on the one night when no help is available, they must stay alive until dawn…or both be sacrificed for their sins against the state.

Once again returning to collaborate with franchise creator James DeMonaco on The Purge: Election Year are the series’ producers: Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (Insidious and Ouija series, The Visit), Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ouija series, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and writer/director DeMonaco’s longtime production partner, Sébastien K. Lemercier (Assault on Precinct 13, Four Lovers).
