As far as Rachel is concerned, “There’s a flashback that I loved doing,” teased Mitchell. “I love to add insight to our characters. Billy Burke does some awesome work in the second-to-last episode, and he’ll play the guitar at one point. We didn’t get to hear him sing, though, but we can’t have everything, and there’s some stuff with Rachel and Monroe that’s long coming.”

This is a new video interview with Elizabeth from February 19.
REVOLUTION has been off the air for most of this month, but series star Elizabeth Mitchell (Rachel) is really excited about the next new episode, “$#!& Happens,” that airs April 30th.
When reporters were on the Austin set of REVOLUTION earlier this year, Mitchell shared why she was so giddy about what’s to come…

This is an interview Liz did during the WonderCon so it’s about Revolution, but she also talks about her new project: the book she was trying to get the rights for. The title is “Dolls Behaving Badly”. She signed the paperwork last Monday so she’s going to write it. I’m so excited about this! Isn’t it fantastic?! Read the full interview:
Elizabeth Mitchell is a wonderful human being. We’ve known and loved her since she burst onto the scene of LOST as Juliette, and gave Sawyer (and us) someone to fall in love with. But she’s been all over the map, with V, ER and even Santa Clause 2 on her varied and impressive resume. She currently lights up our TV on NBC’s Revolution as the mercurial Rachel Matheson, which airs on Wednesdays at 8 PM.
Revolution was all over WonderCon for Friday, with an exciting panel, a press conference and a round table chat featuring star Elizabeth Mitchell (LOST), Stephen Collins (7th Heaven) and writer/executive producer Rockne S. O’Bannon (Farscape, Cult, The Twilight Zone). I luckily managed to be apart of that round table, and the following are juicy nuggets from the conversation with Elizabeth Mitchell, as she teases the upcoming final four episodes of Revolution‘s second season, what she wants to see in season 3 (should she and the show survive), her nerd upbringing and thoughts on LOST, conventions and more!

Executive producer Rockne S. O’Bannon described Rachel as a lightning rod, so what can you tease about the final episodes of season two and what sparks she’ll be setting off?
Elizabeth Mitchell: “Rachel and her sparks… She’s a catalyst for change, right, so I like that. That’s nice. She’s down a road of people finding their conscience right now, which my dad is very unhappy about because he likes me as a cold-blooded killer. I don’t know what that means except that he’s a huge fan of sci-fi, Sarah Connor – that’s his world and his genre. That’s what I grew up loving because, of course, dad likes it. I was like, ‘Yeah, this is fantastic.’ So, for him, Rachel finding her moral center, he’s like, ‘She’s not going to kill people anymore?’ I was like, ‘Dad!’ But mom my is like, ‘You know, it’s lovely to see a conscience start to be re-introduced to the show. It’s lovely to see people trying to fight good against evil, rather than everybody being grey.’ So I think Rachel’s trying to lead people down a better road. She’s not really sure how to do it. She’s going to get pretty unpopular before anything good happens from it. But it is interesting.”
