What Happened To Juliet

This is a spoiler, but I think you need to read it.

Confirmed: Lost’s Juliet Is Dead, Not Impervious to Hydrogen-Bomb Explosions

During the explosive season finale of Lost last season, Elizabeth Mitchell’s character, well, exploded. Or did she? After all, in the Lost universe, falling hundreds of feet down a massive well and then being mere inches away from a hydrogen bomb when it explodes could either mean the character got blown to smithereens or that they’ll just wake up the next morning with a piercing headache and a severe urge to pop some Dharma-brand acetaminophen. Well, in the case of Juliet, executive producer Damon Lindelof confirms in this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly (not yet online) that the female half of Sawliet is, indeed, toast. “The decision to kill Juliet was absolutely brutal,” he said, before adding that “[Carlton Cuse and I] have to really love you to give you a finale death.” Don’t shed too many tears for Juliet, though: As we told you back in June, Juliet is set to appear in “an unspecified number of episodes” during the sixth and final season of the show.

Damon Talks About Kate and Juliet in Season 6

On a show called GEEK TIME hosted by Jon Hein(Jump the Shark author), on HOWARD101 on SIRIUS RADIO, Jon asked Damon Lindleoff about Kate and Juliet not being as “hard” or “badass” as they used to be, Damon said “If you like those two characters as badass, then you’ll probably like the last season of the show.” I don’t know if that’s worthy of news. I think it aired Aug. 17 but I’m not sure

Latest from Kristen | Spoiler About Juliet & Sawyer

Not much at all, I’m not sure if you even consider it a spoiler, but anyway…

Juliet Burke: Hello, I know I’m dead on Lost but I do care for James. Can you tell me if he’ll be OK? I love him so much, but I know he has to move on and be happy again—that’s all I wish for him. Libby says hi.
Wait a minute. How do you know you are dead, Juliet? If by chance you are a fan posing as Juliet, I would tell you that you shouldn’t jump to any conclusions! As for James/Sawyer, I don’t have any concrete info on how he’s faring in the new season, but I know he is alive, and I haven’t heard of any specific maladies headed his way. So no need to worry, as far as I know. I’ll ask my future daughter-in-law Java just as soon as she can talk.

Lost Season 6 Poster Decoded

LOST SEASON 6 poster Elizabeth Mitchell.jpgA new poster promoting Lost’s sixth and final season recently surfaced on the Internet—and in addition to a line up of the cast, both past and present, it contains some hieroglyphics to consider. PM sent the poster to Dr. James Allen, Wilbour Professor of Egyptology and Chair of Egyptology and Ancient Western Asian Studies at Brown University—the man who gave the first indication that the mysterious four-toed statue was not Anubis, as many had assumed, but Taweret, the half-hippo, half-croc Egyptian goddess who protected mothers and infants. Allen had this to say about the poster: “The hieroglyphs spell out two Egyptian words, meaning ‘Who is the guide?’ or ‘Who is the leader?'” We’ll leave the interpretation of that up to you.

LOST Rumors: Damon Lindelof Reveals Some Tidbits

Here are some tidbits thanks to The Donkey Wheel from Damon Lindelof’s appearance at a comic book shop in Sherman Oaks today. No way to know if these are true or Damon was trying to keep us guessing, so we are posting these here for now. Damon L. had a book signing tonight and he stated that when season one ended a woman asked him what is in the hatch. He signed something of hers and also wrote there is a man in the hatch that has to push a button every 108 min to save the world. She didn’t believe what he wrote and laughed. This brings me to the things I saw he wrote today. First he stated the Swan Hatch Paiting was “painted by Desmond to pass the time, but time came around to bite him in the ass”

Second he wrote “Sawyers true love will ALWAYS be Juliet. Kate, Meh.”

Third “Why, Oh Why is it called the ‘Swan’… literature, (name), literature” Last “Faraday had the right idea but the wrong execution”
