Walker Stalker Con (Chicago) – Nice mention of Juliet

There’s an article about Lost actors to appear at Walker Stalker Con (Chicago) with a nice mention of Juliet! 😉

“Lost” actors expected to appear Feb. 21: Henry Ian Cusick (who played Desmond), Harold Perrineau (Michael), Nestor Carbonell (Richard), Mira Furlan (Danielle) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet, whose death I’m still not fully over).
Guests at the convention can expect one or two “Lost” panels, according to Walker Stalker co-organizer James Frazier.

Emilie about Liz + Lana retweeting Liz’s pic

I think this is so beautiful! Not just for the LOST reunion (we need a pic of these two btw ) but because I think not everybody does that to help the other actor and she wasn’t even in the scene. Usually during things like this one, the actor has to act all alone with a picture of himself (or of another person). Liz was so kind to do this for Emilie. Not surprised I must say, I know how supportive she always is with her costars. Anyway this is what Emilie said:

New Interview: Elizabeth about LOST finale

IGN interviewed LOST cast & crew for the 10th anniversary and this is what Liz said about “The End”:

Man, did Lost leave an impression. Some consider it one of the best shows ever made. Some consider it a good show that notably faltered at times. And others have outright disdain, aiming a lot of their anger at the way the series ended and feeling it never properly paid off what it set up. But regardless, people cared about Lost and still do, one way or the other. Few who watched it would say, “Oh, I kind of remember that show” when it’s brought up. They have an opinion. They remember their engagement with the series as it aired.

With Lost’s 10th anniversary here this week — the premiere episode debuted September 22nd, 2004 — we spoke to several of the cast and creators about the show’s legacy, its controversial ending and more.

Elizabeth Mitchell (“Juliet Burke”): I’ll be highly unpopular, but I loved it, and I’ll tell you why. I’m a big fan of eastern philosophy, and I’m a big fan of the fact that there’s a big mystery. I loved the fact that it ended in a mystery and the fact that the island was magic — or something to that extent — something unexplainable. I don’t have a problem with the fact that it wasn’t explained, because there are so many things in life that aren’t. For us to say, “Oh, no, it has to be!” Really? I know we search for that and it makes us feel safe, but does it really make us happy? Probably not. So I liked it.

10 Most Memorable Lost Characters: Juliet Burke

N. 5

How I love the cool blue-eyed look of Juliet. Her presence helped Lost ride through their middle seasons. Juliet taught us that not all of “The Others” were bad. She was an island native who wanted to get the heck home, just like the survivors. Elizabeth Mitchell (who played Juliet) is the only female actress from Lost to have earned an Emmy nomination, and it is clear why.

LOST: Review about Juliet & Sawyer

Hi, there’s another article about LOST with a touching part about Juliet &  Sawyer’s relationship. I think you would like to read it. 🙂

“The finest example of a good character moment is Sawyer and Juliet’s relationship in season five. The two of them, after being caught on the Island spinning recklessly through time like a skipping record, are finally forced to settle in the 1970s in the Dharma Initiative’s midst. Neither has any real reason to get together. By then, we’d already been forced to invest in either a Kate-Jack or Kate-Sawyer pairing. But the show flashes us three years into their relationship, and, in a single moment, sells their coupledom almost effortlessly because the characters have been through enough apart that we understand what they need and can provide for one another. Sawyer needs someone who doesn’t cotton to his bullshit. Juliet needs someone who believes in her and isn’t trying to own her. Both need to feel trusted. And in an instant, you were with them until the end. When Lost gets something right, it’s really gets it right. It’s people who serve as its beating heart, and who make watching worth it, far more than the show’s many showy philosophical discussions.”

ET article about Lost Anniversary: Nice Review about Juliet

ET posted an article about LOST for the 10 Year Anniversary and this is the part about Juliet. <3

7. Juliet > Kate: This is more of a point of preference, but Juliet really did get the shaft on that damn Island, up to and including when she was killed. When she got literally shafted: She fell down a mineshaft and was blown up by a hydrogen bomb. She spent half her time playing second fiddle in love triangles to Kate, and right when she finally gets an epic love story with Sawyer, they threw her down a mineshaft. Juliet was smart, she was sweet, she had really pretty hair. We pick Juliet.
