This Is What The Cast Of Lost Are Doing Now

We found this article about Lost cast thanks to Answer To Nothing facebook page! 🙂

Elizabeth_Mitchell_Comic_Con_EW_Radio_Interview_z.jpg14 years after it first aired, this is what the cast of Lost are doing now

Many of the Lost cast members have gone on to impressive careers, both on TV and on the big screen

Often ranked among the greatest TV series of all time, cult favourite Lost followed a group of plane crash survivors as they struggled to navigate life on a mysterious (and very inhospitable) desert island. It was famed for its constant (game-changing) twists and turns, as well as its excellent characterisation.

Now, 14 years since the series started, and eight since the last episode aired, we thought we’d take a look at what the ensemble cast are doing now.

Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet Burke)

Elizabeth Mitchell played the Snow Queen in TV series Once Upon a Time, and she was in horror film The Purge: Election Year. She’s in Netflix series The Expanse, and she starred in short-lived science fiction Revolution back in 2012.

10 Reasons To Watch The Expanse

We found this about The Expanse:

Is Anybody Watching ‘The Expanse’? Here Are 10 Reasons Why I Do

8. The women are great

Anna Volovodov, the minister with a heart of gold and will of steel. Elizabeth Mitchell pulls off heartfelt righteousness without sinking into buzzkill, virtue-signaling annoyance, but those Lost fans already know what I’m talking about.

Whoever has been following Liz’s career for more than one project, knows for sure that her immense talent is something clearly obvious and not a coicidence.  😉 She puts everything in all her characters, which makes them all unforgettable! <3

Revolution | Old Interview

We don’t know if you remember, but Elizabeth did a conference call with Eric Kripke for promoting Revolution. We found the transcription and thought to add it here. 🙂

These are the audio clips of the conference call:

Here’s the transcription:

NBC’s Revolution returns tonight and if you’re a fan of the show, it sounds like this season is going to be bigger, faster and tons more fun.

Elizabeth Mitchelland Creator/Executive Producer Eric Kripke were clearly excited about the direction this season has taken and they’re equally excited for the fans to watch.

In this interview, they talk about what it’s been like to be away for so long, shooting on location in North Carolina and how working on the show is like a “Meisner approach” for Elizabeth.

Elizabeth, you have said how you love being in like action adventure oriented shows, are you going to get to do any action of your own this second half of the season?

Elizabeth Mitchell: Yes, yes we are and my father will be thrilled because that’s really the stuff he likes to watch the most. I think that Linda Hamilton’s his favorite actress.

I do get to do some more actiony type stuff and I have a wonderful time. I love that stuff.

Eric Kripke: Yes she totally kicks ass.

Every J.J. Abrams TV Show Ranked

We found this article about JJ Abrams’ shows. Obviously Lost is number one. Revolution is ten.

3x09 Stranger In A Strange Land Elizabeth Mitchell (3).jpg1. ‘Lost’ (2004 – 2010)
“Lost” definitely had some bad seasons, and people still want to flip tables over the series finale, but when it was good, it was SO. FREAKING. GOOD.

We love the line about Liz.

Elizabeth_Mitchell_Revolution_1x17_official_cap_4.jpg10. ‘Revolution’ (2012-2014)
A show you want to like more because of Elizabeth Mitchell, but you just can’t really get there. We get it, post-apocalyptic worlds were all the rage. But this just wasn’t about one we needed to see.

We love that people might not like a show, but they really like Elizabeth anyway. That says a lot about her talent! <3

You can’t help but always appreciate her performances. She makes you love all the characters she gives life to with such a profund intensity that when a show ends, you keep thinking about those women she has created and those will forever be a gift! Beautiful!

Lost – Suliet | Emotional Investment If You Get The Right Actors

juliet_sawyer_lost_la_fleur.jpgWe found this about Juliet and Sawyer in an article about Westworld. We don’t watch the show so we have no idea what they are talking about, but yes, Elizabeth and Josh were so good to sell Juliet and Sawyer’s relationship in 45 minutes. 🙂

It reminded me of when Lost sold the audience on a legitimate romance between Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell) in just 45 minutes. On paper, that was a story turn that any fan would have argued wasn’t plausible. But it was proof that if you get the right actors to bring it to life, you can get immediate emotional investment like Westworld pulled off in this episode.
