Article: What the Cast of ‘Lost’ Is up to Today

Elizabeth_Mitchell_Dead_Of_Summer_Premiere_015.jpgIn a nice article about Lost, they also wrote about what the cast members are up now. This is the part about Liz:

Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet Burke)

Just after Lost ended, Elizabeth nabbed the lead role on V. Up next, you can catch her on The Expanse on Syfy.

The list of her projects is so long that they could only write the first thing she did after Lost and her latest project. What a beautiful career she has! She’s so talented! <3

Happy Lost Anniversary

13 years ago today Lost pilot aired for the first time and 3 years after that they introduced the most compelling character of tv history. We will be forever greateful to this show for bringing Juliet into our lives and grateful to Elizabeth for what she put into this role. One of her best performances (but she’s impeccable in every thing she does!) and for sure Juliet Burke will always have a special place into our hearts!

Happy Lost Anniversary!

Article: Emmy Snubs

THE OTHER WOMAN new.jpgThis is an article about The Leftovers‘ actor and performances snubbed by the Emmys. They mentioned Liz as an example of performers being snubbed until they finally got a nomination for their last appearance. Elizabeth should have won all the Emmys for every year on Lost. Her performance as Juliet is still the best ever (so are all her other performances, she’s incredible!). They never give the awards to the ones who really deserve, but seriously, for Juliet it was a crime.

“Lost” fans nearly went bald pulling their hair out each year when leading man Matthew Fox continued to get snubbed at the Emmys. Fox’s Emmy drought ended for that show’s farewell season in 2010, which now leaves many awards pundits to wonder if “The Leftovers” star Justin Theroux can follow in Fox’s footsteps by picking up a goodbye bid as Best Drama Actor. Interestingly enough, both shows were co-created by Damon Lindelof and told the stories of realistic characters dealing with otherworldly situations.

There are many other examples of performers being snubbed until they finally got in for their shows’ last seasons, including Fox’s “Lost” co-star Elizabeth Mitchell in 2010, Alan Alda (“The West Wing”) in 2006, Tim Daly (“The Sopranos”) in 2007, Will Forte (“30 Rock”) in 2014 and Laurie Metcalf (“Getting On”) in 2016. Can Theroux follow this unique trend for HBO’s “The Leftovers” in the tight Best Drama Actor race?

Damon Lindelof About Juliet & Sawyer and Elizabeth

3x22 Through the Looking Glass Elizabeth Mitchell (4).jpgThis is the part about Juliet&Sawyer and Elizabeth from a 2014 interview with Damon Lindelof:

3. Storyline you didn’t think the fans would love, but they did.
Putting Sawyer and Juliet together. The “LeFleur” episode where we essentially said, we’re not going to give the fans the opportunity to see them flirting with each other and developing feelings over time…we’re just going to stuff it down their faces. We’re going to do a time card so like, they basically travel back in time and then the next time we see them, all within in the span of the same episode, they’ve been living amongst the Dharma initiative for a period of time, and they are now together and they are into each other.

And so it was just sort of like, this is not a build. It’s a law. It has happened. We got excited about that story because we loved Elizabeth Mitchell so much, but as we started talking about it, both Josh [Holloway] and Elizabeth were not happy. They were like, ‘Hey guys, we love you, we trust you, but it ain’t gonna work.’ And Elizabeth was just saying, ‘There is just no chemistry between us, I love Josh as a human being but you have done nothing to build this up. You haven’t laid any of the groundwork.’

And we were like, ‘That’s why we love it so much. It just comes out of nowhere. You just have to totally commit!’ And they were like, ‘We’ll do our best.’  And I just started to have that feeling in my stomach like, this is a real show killer. Like, when you put two beloved characters in an intimate relationship with each other and they don’t have chemistry, you end up making the characters look like fools and you can really piss off the audience. Then we saw the episode, and we said, we think this kind of works! But it could be a complete and utter disaster. And it wasn’t until it aired and the audience was like, ‘OK, we are OK with this, we are going to go down this road. We are now accepting Juliet into this sort of love dynamic that was previously only occupied by Jack, Sawyer and Kate.’

They Didn’t Create Juliet Funko Pop! è_é

LOST_Juliet_Burke_Funko_Pops.jpgABC posted this article about the upcoming Lost Funko Pop figures and the company didn’t create Juliet. We’re so disappointed!!!
Yes, we have two different custom pops of Juliet, but we want an original one. There was no bobblehead of Juliet and no McFarlane figure even though they scanned Elizabeth for that one.

We only have the Bif Bang Pow! of Juliet (the one on the left in this photo, the others are custom made) and it’s not enough!

Maybe we can contact them and ask for Juliet. What do you think? The Lost pops they made are so beautiful, we need Juliet too!

These are their contacts:

You can also post a comment on the ABC article.
