TV Guide: Elizabeth Mitchell Teases a “Twisty, Turny” Lost

Elizabeth Mitchell previews Juliet’s new, revealing Lost (Wednesdays at 10 pm/ET) flashback, reflects on her life as a mom, and tells tales from riding shotgun with Angelina Jolie.

TV Guide: Your character, Juliet, the fertility doc recruited by the Others, gets flashback action in this week’s episode. What can you tell us about the episode?
Elizabeth Mitchell:
It’s a nice, revelatory flashback. My first flashback episode wasn’t particularly twisty or turny. This one is definitely twisty and turny.

TV Guide: You’re not just teasing us? We’ll actually get some big answers?
Mitchell:
Oh, yeah. So many things we’ve already seen about Juliet and wondered, “Why did she do this? Why is she so cold?” You’ll know exactly why.

Angelina Jolie about the kiss in GIA and other co-stars about Liz

I found the video where Angelina Jolie talks about her favourite onscreen kiss. It’s from 2004.

I’ve also updated the page about what some Elizabeth’s co-stars say about her. Mentions by Rob Lowe, Miranda Bailey, Aisha Tyler, Bob Merrick and Tim Guinee. You can read them here. And one by David Richmond-Peck added in the V page.

Mention of Elizabeth in Angelina Jolie’s biography

Did you know Michael Cristofer selected Elizabeth over 200 other actresses for GIA after seeing her on stage in Three Tall Women?

I happened to read this in Angelina Jolie’s biography. Actually I was just looking if there was any mention of Elizabeth in that biography and I found it. 😉

I took a photo and Ste made the transcription yesterday. You can read it in the press page: HERE

Q&A with Elizabeth Mitchell on Lying, “Answers To Nothing”, “Lost”, “V”

ANSWERS_TO_NOTHING_elizabeth_mitchell_new_still_shop.jpgVelvet-voiced Elizabeth Mitchell is always a pleasure to watch on-screen or onstage owing to her smart role choices. Most people know and love her as Dr. Juliet Burke on “Lost” and as Erica Evans, humanity’s best hope against reptilian invaders, on “V”; but she’s also made an impression as Angelina Jolie’s lover in “Gia” and with supporting roles in “Nurse Betty,” “The Santa Clause 2,” “Running Scared” and “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause.”

In “Answers to Nothing,” an ensemble drama opening this Friday, Mitchell plays a woman desperately trying to have a baby with husband Dane Cook, even though she suspects he is cheating on her. Mitchell chatted with us about her premonition before she got this role, how she felt about Juliet’s death on “Lost,” what would have happened on “V,” and how reaching out and touching Angelina Jolie helped land Mitchell’s first film role in “Gia.”

Kate, your character in “Answers to Nothing,” lies to herself to remain happy. When she accidentally sees a suspicious text message on her husband’s phone from another woman, why doesn’t she say anything?
Kate doesn’t say anything — it’s almost like she knew — but I felt pretty devastated when I read it. She wants the baby more than anything. I think she has a window of time to do everything she wants to do. She’s 40 and she has a small period of time to have this baby. They’re in line to do in utero, which is thousands and thousands of dollars. I think you get to a point in life, which is not healthy, where you just keep saying you’ll deal with it later. They keep getting so separate from each other.

Gia Review | Best Movie Sex Scenes Of All Time

This site really love Gia. LOL!! These are two mentions in the last 15 days.

There have been some great movies with some steamy sex scenes over the years, so it was very easy to come up with a list of some of the best movie sex scenes of all time. The below list has it all: lesbian sex, threesomes and even sex among puppets. Let’s call the below list the “dirty dozen,” shall we?

  1. “Gia” “Gia,” starring Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Mitchell, has the best movie sex scene, hands down. Both lovely ladies show most of their nude body to the world as they indulge in a steamy romp in Jolie’s bed. We also get to view Jolie’s fully nude backside as she chases after Mitchell the next morning.

***

There are quite a few scenes where two actresses hook up and make a little steam for the camera, but it takes something altogether different to produce something that is worthy of the title of one of the best lesbian scenes in a movie. Every guy (and more than a few gals) likes to see hot actresses get it on with each other. There’s still something risqué and a little naughty about actually doing something that others only fanaticize about. Here is a quick sampling of some of the best lesbian scenes in recent years.

“Gia” (Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Mitchell). There can simply not be a decent list of best lesbian scenes without including something by Ms. Jolie; most notably the film that brought her to the attention of men and women everywhere. Playing the doomed fashion model Gia Carangi, Jolie’s lesbian scenes with “Lost” star Elizabeth Mitchell were some of the hottest scenes HBO had ever aired.
