Dead Of Summer Premise | Special Featurette

We got this special featurette of Dead Of Summer in hd.  We really need this show on bluray and dvd. 🙁 It only last 10 episodes, but gosh, don’t you miss Deb Carpenter? We do! Liz is able to make you love and care for every and each character she plays! Plus this show reminds us of the time when we met her. Best experience ever!

We miss your hugs, Liz, so tremendously!

Dead Of Summer Premiere – Video Interview

We got the hd video of Access Hollywood interview from Dead Of Summer premiere. If you missed it or just wanna rewatch it in hd, click on the photo below. It’s about Once Upon A Time and Dead Of Summer.  The glow that comes from her is captivating!

It would be great to see her on Once Upon A Time again (if they don’t kill her character again obviously è_é). Ahhh the Snow Queen, Liz was so amazing in that role, so perfect in every little detail. We’ve just rewatched her parts because they aired Season 4 on tv a few weeks ago and felt in love with her performance all over again. She has such a gift!

Ask Freeform To Release Dead Of Summer On Bluray or DVD

Elizabeth_Mitchell_Dead_Of_Summer_1x06_EMFC_001135.jpgHey everyone, we contacted Freeform a while back and they told us they are not planning to release Dead Of Summer on Bluray or DVD. Now they said they would pass along the request to those in charge over there, so maybe if we send them more requests they would consider it. We don’t know about you, but we love to have Liz’s projects on Bluray or at least DVD. Having them downloaded on pc or watching them in share is like reading a book on kindle or borrow a book from someone. Nonsense!

So please help us getting Dead Of Summer! Contact Freeform at this link.

Thank you Kaysi for letting us know about this latest reply and the suggestion!

Dead Of Summer Canceled

http://elizabeth-mitchell.org/skin2015/dead_of_summer.jpgSometimes it would be better to cancel something else… point intended… Freeform has canceled Dead of Summer. We really hope they release this show on bluray/dvd soon.

And by the way… we still believe in Charlie Roan.

UPDATE: We thought only Liz wasn’t involved in season 2, but TV LINE says “none of the original cast was expected back.”

Dead of Summer won’t live to see another season.

Freeform has cancelled the horror-drama after its 10-episode freshman run, which averaged fewer than 500,000 weekly viewers and a 0.2 demo rating — losing well more than half of its Tuesday lead-in (Pretty Little Liars Season 7 averaged 1.2 mil and a 0.6).

The cabler’s other summer launch, Guilt, was similarly cancelled last month after putting up even lower numbers on Monday nights.

Created by Once Upon a Time‘s Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz and set at a summer camp in the 1980s, the Season 2 plan for Dead of Summer was to visit camp owner Deb’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) experiences as a Stillwater counselor in the 1970s, though none of the original cast was expected back.

Amber Coney About Dolls Behaving Badly

http://elizabeth-mitchell.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Dolls_Behaving_Badly-96x150.jpgFor sure you remember Dolls Behaving Badly. During an interview from last February, Liz said: “I wish there were progresses. I’ve never got to the point where I really felt like I wanted to do it, but I still have a soft spot in my heart for it.”

Well they have just released an interview with Amber Coney where she mentions Elizabeth and the book. This is what she said:

In addition to auditioning, she [Amber Coney] is also writing a book adaptation for her co-star Elizabeth Mitchell. “She passed a book along to me and was like ‘I’d like to make this, I don’t know’,” she recounts “I’m going to try to write the thing, so once I have a moment I’m going to get back and write that.”

The book is beautiful and it would be great if one day they made the movie and Liz was still very involved. 🙂
