Lost | Preview for this week’s episode “Ji Yeon”

Part of “Old Info And News”

“Yi Jeon” is a Sun/Jin Joint flashback that plays out in the days following the Tempest fiasco. With it becoming increasingly obvious that there is no rescue, Sun and Jin decide to evacuate to camp Locke, against Juliet’s better judgment.Remember last season’s episode D.O.C.? The good news was that Sun’s baby was fathered by Jin, the not so good news was that mothers who are impregnated on the island wind up dying on the island. So will Juliet be able to convince the duo to hold off on moving to Lockeville? Unlikely, but there make be hope for them yet…in the future.

Remember Desmond and Sayid. Yeah, they sort of left them out this week right? Don’t worry because next week the two are not only going to meet the Captain of the freighter, they are going to have a chance encounter with a very familiar face at the end of the episode, and you’ll not only find yourself asking why, but how this person is on the freighter. The answers are coming in “Meet Kevin Johnson.”

Camp Locke is going to have a bit of excitement, we’re finally going to find out what happened to Miles after his hand grenade breakfast. Trust me, he’s okay, but he might have some choice words for somebody.Back to the question of the final two members of the Oceanic 6. Doesn’t the fact that it is two really speak volumes about who those two are? It’s Rose and Bernard, naturally. Okay so it isn’t, but who it is must be painfully obvious so its hardly worth mentioning.

The last thing you should know about this episode is that it features a major character death. Yes, I was kind of casual about mentioning that, and there is a reason for it. A reason that will have you hailing the genius of the Lost crew. Hang in there, you can make it.

Digital Spy Interview: “Elizabeth Mitchell talks about life in the Lost camp”

Part of “Old Info And News”

March 7, 2008

lost season 4 photoshoot elizabeth mitchell set 2 (3).jpgElizabeth Mitchell talks about life in the Lost camp

Introduced at the start of season three, enigmatic fertility doctor Juliet Burke quickly became a firm favourite with fans of Lost. She interfered with the long-running love triangle between Jack, Kate and Sawyer, almost got executed for killing one of her fellow Others, and has switched allegiances more times than Hurley has had hot dinners. But whose side is she really on? We gave alter-ego Elizabeth Mitchell a call to find out.

Is Lost a tough show to work on?
“Well, the good thing is I’m strong and pretty physical, so running around in the rain in the jungle for 14 hours a day is really fun to me. I have a great time on the show. We were running around the place the other night and this new cast member said to me, ‘Is this really what you guys do all the time?’ It honestly is.”

E!Online Interview: “Lost’s Elizabeth Mitchell Opens Up on Juliet, Jack and Her”

March 6, 2008

lost season 4 photoshoot elizabeth mitchell set 2 (3).jpgLost’s Elizabeth Mitchell Opens Up on Juliet, Jack and Her

I love her. That’s all there is to it. Elizabeth Mitchell (you know, Juliet on Lost—keep up, will ya?) radiates kindness, warmth and intelligence, and, I swear, just being in her presence ups my rating on the happy scale.

And in case you didn’t hear, Juliet’s big episode airs tonight.

So on a recent (and wonderful) afternoon, I interviewed her, and you can click in to check out what she had to say about working with Michael Emerson, the identity of Juliet’s “constant” and tonight’s “awkward” and “heartbreaking” episode…

I have to tell you, I was just having a conversation about how much we have all absolutely embraced Juliet as part of the Lost cast. You kind of forget that she wasn’t part of the original cast, and that hasn’t happened with every new character.
That’s so nice. Thank you so much. I do feel really happy you feel that way, and people have told me that. It’s amazing to me, because that’s certainly not what I expected when I joined the cast. I really just expected to come in and get to play as long as I could and get killed off pretty quickly, judging from what happened to everyone else. I think they penned it really nicely. They just needed a bridge in certain places, and that was this character. They needed a bridge between Ben and everyone else, and they needed someone to come in and be a little salt in the oyster of Jack and Kate.
And I really do like the fact that she does seem to like Jack. You’re gonna laugh when I say this, but I feel like it’s a very grown-up relationship. They seem to really respect and like each other.
