Think you’ve seen every possible Law & Order: SVU scenario in the NBC procedural’s 12-season run? Think again. Showrunner Neal Baer says that Wednesday’s episode of the sex-crimes series is so edgy, so jaw-dropping, he’s been sitting on it since Day 1. That is, until the wonder that is Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost, V) came along, and all of the pieces to make the episode, “Totem,” a reality fell into place.

What Elizabeth said:
- I’ve always been a fan of the series.
- I play a very twisted character, it was very interesting for me. Working with Jeremy Irons made it special.
- I found this role very weighty, usually I’m very flirty on set, but I was very serious about this.
- I play a women accused of molesting and murdering a child which was hard but the script was so great.Women I played before on SVU was a mother, this women I’m playing is really a victim who is a child.
- No, I haven’t heard anything about V being renewed.
- I really do like playing heroes, but I do like playing complicated women and I get offered that a lot.
- If NealBaer asked me to do anything,I’d do it.He’s never let me down.
Neal Baer(SVU producer) said:
- We wanted to do this story for 11 years but wanted to do it right. One of the most compelling episode we’ve done.
- We needed an actress who could go to a very dark place and Elizabeth was willing to go there. You won’t forget it.
- I knew what I wanted for this character- no make up, very simple clothes- Elizabeth just nailed it. It’s so honest.
Neal Baer talked about how wardrobe plays such a big part in Elizabeth Mitchell’s upcoming “unforgetable” performance on.

The director, Matthew Pollock wrote this:
“Clone Dilemma (with Elizabeth Mitchell): Beauty’s in the eye of the gun holder.
Here’s a new video I directed starring Elizabeth Mitchell, aka Juliet from Lost! We only had an hour to shoot with her so in order to get all the coverage I wanted we had a three camera shoot. She was great to work with and did a great job. Thomas Middleditch absolutely killed it as always. Written by Ben, produced by Steve and Adam, dp’d by Vince, Banks did a great job on camera, and edited by Nick. I’m really happy with how this turned out especially given the time restraints we had. Enjoy it, reblog it/tell your friends, and let me know what you think!” (Mattedit)

Who this season would you like to spend more time with?
Who this season would I like to spend more time with? I like the stuff with Elizabeth Mitchell. That’s always a lot of fun. She’s pretty cool! She’s cool and she’s fun to hang out with — she’s a very funny lady — and in front of the cameras, she makes some choices that other people wouldn’t make. She’s a very interesting actor to work with.
And I’m sitting there in God’s house, having just betrayed all of humanity. There is just so much going on here. I turned to Elizabeth and I said, “What do I play here?” [Laughs] It just shows as a character how many pressures there were on this guy, and as an actor, what do you play? There’s so much going on. I just don’t know which way it’s going to go.
How quickly are you just going to be falling into bed with people? [Laughter] We think the show needs more sex!
I truly couldn’t argue with that at all. [Laughs] It was funny. Elizabeth and I would have these scenes and sort of add in these little things, moments of flirtation and what not, and most of them didn’t get into the show. They kind of cut around that. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I would love for Hobbes to fall into bed with just about any female character on the show! I’d love for Hobbes’ heart to come out in some way. I think that would be great.
Is there any character you, as an actor, would like to spend more time with this season?
I really like the stuff with Elizabeth Mitchell, that’s always a lot of fun. She’s pretty cool, fun to hang out with and a very funny lady. Also, in front of the camera, she’ll make some choices that other people wouldn’t make.
Might “anything” include a relationship?
I truly couldn’t argue with that at all. It was funny because last season Elizabeth and I would have these scenes and we sort of would add in little things, moments of flirtation and what not, and most of them didn’t get into the show, they sort of cut around it.
Colleagues About Liz - Elizabeth Mitchell - Erica Evans - Season 2 - V - V Spoilers
First Jane Badler, and now Marc Singer! The ’80s hunk, who played the original V‘s strapping lizard slayer Mike Donovan, will appear in the season finale of ABC’s updated V as all-new freedom fighter Lars Tremont.
“It was an inevitability,” says the confident star, now 62. “You have to include the personalities who started this dynamic. As V grows, it becomes like a big, hungry animal needing nourishment to grow more and more muscle.” Whatever you say, Marc, although I might have gone with a reptilian analogy.
Look for Marc to be dispatching lizards alongside Elizabeth Mitchell’s Erica Evans, who Marc says “is striking and cuts a fine figure.”
