The Christmas Club’s Author About Liz And The Movie

Barbara Hinske, the author of the novel, posted a video on her facebook where she talks about her experience on The Christmas Club set.

We tried to download the video, but it seems corrupted, so we cannot cut it and add here the parts where she talks about Elizabeth.

Anyway she says that Liz and Cameron are kind and nice and they have great chemistry. She also said they changed the book a bit and that the movie has been set current days.

You can watch the video at this link.

Rebecca Mader About Elizabeth

A fan, Xavianne Gomez, asked Rebecca (during Dutch Comic Con 2018) how it was working with Liz and this is what she answered:

They didn’t get the chance to work together on OUAT, but Rebecca always has the nicest words for her.

And they are so true… Elizabeth is very and pleasantly motherly, the kindest person you can possibly have in your life and impossible to forget how beautifully she took care of you even if it’s been so long since you spent time with her. And she is so full of energy and the sweetest woman ever!

We also loved Bex said their relationship is similar to the one with Lana (Parrilla) since those two always seem so close. It’s lovely to see she kept such a great memory of the time with Liz. Well… honestly how can you not?! 😀 <3

Thanks so much Xavianne for sending this.

Once Upon A Time Writers About Elizabeth

Andrew Chambliss and Kalinda Vazquez, the writer of the episode 4×06 of Once Upon A Time, said that they loved Elizabeth’s performance as the Snow Queen. Take a look at this video from  commentary they did for the bluray.

Well, it’s impossible not to love her performance. Everything was perfect! The scenes with Robert Carlyle were amazing, but you know, she was brilliant in all of them, even when she was alone. Elizabeth did such flawless job with this character! We wish we could see more scene with her! She is mesmerizing!

The Expanse | James S. A. Corey About Elizabeth

James S. A. Corey account (should be Ty Franck posting on that account) said that, in the scene between Anna and Amos in the last episode of The Expanse, the lines “because it needs to be done?” was Liz’s idea. 😀

Well… we all know she has an immense talent in everything that she does and having great ideas for her characters is not a surprise.

Her roles are all under her skin, you can see that by how deeply she goes into their heads and hearts. She knows them completely and at the same time she knows all the characters she has scenes with.

It’s a work that all the actors should do, but you don’t see it done often.

We have always liked that in Elizabeth. During interviews she’s always able to discuss also other actors’ roles. It’s necessary if you want to play someone accurately without missing any spot.

So that’s why it’s not a surprise she had the idea of “because it needs to be done?”, which implies that she understands Amos, since Anna understands him too.

Anyway this is what Ty Franck posted:

Now, to be fair, doing a callback to “because it needs to be done?” in this moment was in fact Elizabeth Mitchell’s idea. She has fantastic instincts.

The Buried Girl Actor About Elizabeth

The Buried Girl

Shannon Brown, one of the actor in the movie The Buried Girl, talked a little bit about the project, Elizabeth and her character.

This is an interview from February 2018, but we’ve just found it.

In 2017 you booked an amazing role in Ben Hickernell’s upcoming dramatic thriller, The Buried Girl, which also stars Oona Laurence (Southpaw, Pete’s Dragon) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost, Revolution). What can you tell us about your character, Art?

Well, I can’t say too much about this character without dropping a spoiler, but I will say that he’s not exactly a good guy… not even sort of. Oona is the lead and I play her character’s father and I might not be the best father or husband, but I’ll leave it at that. I can also add that Elizabeth’s character doesn’t like him very much either.

This was a challenging role to play, but that’s what makes it that much more appealing as an actor. Working with such immense talent like Oona and Elizabeth made it that much more rewarding. It really is a powerful script and if you haven’t heard of Ben Hickernell, trust me… you will! He is definitely a legit talent and it was wonderful working with him as well. This is a powerful, dramatic and intense piece that deals with a very real and gut wrenching subject matter. I’m honored to be a part of it and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.
